Even though I live in Hawaii, within 2 miles of Waikiki, I really am not much of a beach person. Also, on the gorgeous island of Oahu, I tend to stick to my little valley.
A couple of weeks ago though, I had a friend in town, a professional photographer (Island Moon Photography) here to capture a wedding, who not only invited me to watch the sunrise on the beach
(4:30 am wake up call people, but it was so totally worth it!)
but gave me some instruction on how to use the Canon Rebel that I've hoarded but barely used for the past 3 years. I have so much to learn, but with great instruction I got a couple of photos that have made me feel so encouraged to pursue the complicated and time-consuming task of learning to use camera equipment, maybe I'll even take a class...
